How to use
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.
How it works
Ezimet-S Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Mometasone and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Mometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Mometasone into the skin.

Expert advice
- Ezimet-S Ointment is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
- Apply to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
- Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
- After you have applied Ezimet-S Ointment, remember to wash your hands (unless your hands are the treated area).
- Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome skin dryness during the course of treatment.
- Consult your doctor if your skin condition has not improved after 2 weeks of treatment.
