Ketona Shampoo contains Ketoconazole as its active ingredient, an antifungal agent widely used to treat scalp conditions caused by fungal infections. It helps control dandruff, flaking, scaling, and itching linked with seborrheic dermatitis (a type of skin inflammation) and pityriasis versicolor (a skin discoloration disorder). Ketona Shampoo works by stopping the growth of the fungus, restoring the natural balance of the scalp, and promoting healthier hair.

Apply a tiny amount of shampoo to the affected regions and gently massage it into the scalp until it foams. Allow the shampoo to rest on the scalp for three to five minutes to allow the medication to operate properly. After this, thoroughly rinse your hair and scalp with clean water. For best results, follow the treatment schedule advised by your doctor. In most cases, it is used twice a week for two to four weeks to treat dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis, and once daily for up to five days for pityriasis versicolor.
