How to use Norflox-TZ RF Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Norflox-TZ Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Medicine Works

Norflox-TZ Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Tinidazole, Norfloxacin, and Lactobacillus. Tinidazole is an antibiotic which kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Norfloxacin is also an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Lactobacillus is a live microorganism which restores the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Norflox-TZ Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Norflox-TZ Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.

The use of Norflox-TZ is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to norfloxacin, tinidazole or any other excipient. It should also be preferably avoided in patients with history of any inflammation of the tendons (tendinitis) or tendon rupture seen with the use of norfloxacin or any other medicine which belongs to the same group (quinolone group) of antimicrobial agents and in patients with some neurological disorders.

Yes, Norflox-TZ contains Norfloxacin, which is known to increase the risk of tendon rupture, commonly in the achilles tendon. Tendon problems can happen in people of all ages who take Norflox-TZ. Inform your health care provider if you hear or feel a snap or pop, have severe pain, rapid or immediate bruising after an accident, and are unable to use the affected arm or leg, you may have a tendon rupture.

Q. What if I don"t get better after using Norflox-TZ?

Inform your doctor if you don"t feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.

Q. Can I stop taking Norflox-TZ when I feel better?

No, do not stop taking Norflox-TZ and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.

Q. What if I miss my dose?
