Lactus Tablet contains Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium citrate, Aluminium hydroxide l, Magnesium hydroxide, Dextrose (anhydrous), Lactic acid bacillus, Saccharomyces boulardii, and glucose.
Aluminium hydroxide is an antacid that quickly neutralizes the acid produced in the stomach.
Magnesium hydroxide is also an antacid. Further it increases water in the intestines which may induce defecation.
Lactic acid bacillus helps in restoring the normal flora of gut. Saccharomyces boulardii is a ‘probiotic’, a friendly organism that helps to fight off disease-causing organisms in the gut such as bacteria and yeast.
